Tower Internals & Spares
Structured PVC film fill — the heat transfer surface of the tower, and usually the first thing to check when a tower stops meeting its duty.
Part of our Evaporative Condensers service line — we supply, install and maintain it, not just sell it.
Fill provides the surface area where water and air actually exchange heat. Everything else in the tower exists to get the two to that surface in good order.
Fill degrades: it fouls with scale and biofilm, it embrittles under UV and heat, and it collapses under its own weight once embrittled. A tower running warm with clean nozzles and a healthy fan is usually telling you the fill has gone.
Film fill gives the most surface per cubic metre but needs reasonably clean water. Where the circuit carries suspended solids, splash fill is the more honest choice and we will say so.
